Abstract
  • Subtitle: As a resource for ministry by South Congregational Church in Granby, Connecticut. This project is a study of endowments and how the presence of endowed wealth affects local congregations. The context for the study is expressed as a narrative account of a middle-sized parish and the experience it has had in living with endowed wealth. Applied to the context are congregational studies findings in regard to endowed churches, and a biblical studies component in examining the resources of faith. The project concludes with a design for reflective ministry which proposes a process for a congregation to engage in as it seeks to better understand and utilize the resources of an endowment.
