Abstract

The purpose of this project was to develop a multifaceted strategy for Covington Baptist Association of Covington County, Alabama. The project consisted of two phases. During phase one the project director explored the demographics of Covington County, Alabama, and the profile of Covington Baptist Association Churches. During this phase the project director also investigated existing strategy models in order to discover the best practices in strategy development. During phase two the project director led a selected group of leaders of the Covington Baptist Association of Covington County, Alabama, to develop a multifaceted strategy for the association. The project culminated with the director presenting the proposed multifaceted strategy to the executive committee of the Covington Baptist Association of Covington County, Alabama, for adoption.
