Abstrait

The purpose of the investigation was to explore in greater detail the perceptions of pastors about the following six factors: congregational apathy, feelings of inadequacy, lack of growth and progress, time demands, conflicting and varied role expectations and denominational pressure or abandonment. Analysis of the responses revealed some common themes including self-doubt, role confusion, lack of validation, insufficient resources, and inadequate denominational support, which respondents believed were reasons cited affecting fulfillment.
