Abstract

The purpose of this project was to develop a church revitalization strategy for First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. This project included four primary tasks. First, the project began with a defined demographics study of the population surrounding the community of Hornbeck, Louisiana, and an internal institutional analysis of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. The analysis of the resulting data provided an assessment of the Church revitalization potential for First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. Second, the project director researched effective church revitalization strategies and formulated a report of the best practices foe church revitalization. Third, the project director assembled a selected group of members of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana into a revitalization strategy team and equipped them to develop a strategy to aid in the revitalization of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana. Fourth, the project director presented the church revitalization strategy to the membership of First Baptist Church, Hornbeck, Louisiana, for approval.
