Abstract
  • The study addressed the need for well-trained leaders for Kenya's growing churches. Source documents were analyzed to find out how the historical and cultural dimensions have affected church leadership development in Kenya. Some biblical characters were examined to ascertain biblical leadership styles demonstrated in their lives. Case studies carried out in Kenya revealed the need for organized, transformational, spiritual and collaborative leadership models for equipping Kenya's churches for effective Christian ministry.
