Abstrakt

The project grew out of several years of working with parents and children. It concerns the development of a workshop and teaching manual on the biblical instructions which are given to parents. The workshop is designed for Christian parents, and is constructed in such a way that it can best be used in church settings such as study groups, church training, weekend workshops, and retreats. The major method of study and research was a personal in-depth study of scripture. The results of the project were twofold. First, it was established that a need exists for such a workshop within the ministry framework of the local church. Second, this workshop helped to partially meet this need.
