Abstracto

The Doctor of Ministry project focused on how to introduce change to a traditional church. The church, Spilman Memorial Baptist Church, was not effectively meeting the needs of younger generations in its congregational, limiting their ideas in the church's decision-making process. In the project, the pastor educates and empowers an intergenerational team to initiate healthy changes within the congregation. The intergenerational team relied on a Biblical Foundation (Church D.N.A.) and family systems theory to help transform a church into an intergenerational congregation.
