Abstract
  • This project examines the problem of increasing youth effectiveness through the institution of basic Christian virtues. Christian virtues increase the effectiveness of young people in academics, community involvement, and their participation in the life of the church. The hypothesis is that the youth of Second Baptist Church will increase participation and involvement in the church and community. The effectiveness of the project will be measured by employing qualitative methodology, utilizing pre and post-test, and journaling through a series of workshops. An effective youth ministry will empower young people to value their role and responsibility in the church, school and community.
