Abstract
  • This ministry project engaged the Easter season of the Christian year in spiritual formation using an integrated series of sermons, seminars, and daily devotions. The concept of the risen Christ as the beginning of the new creation was used to affect the participants' formation in four areas: care for material creation, care for our physical bodies, proper understanding of God-centered worship, and continual dependence on Christ our Shepherd. Participants were tested before and after the project and showed much of the desired formational improvement. The project was executed at The Crossing, an Assemblies of God church in McCalla, Alabama.
