Abstract
  • The Revised Common Lectionary is a valuable document used by many churches to design worship, but it fails to provide an inclusive worship environment for the community of faith because it does not include many feminine passages. Through critically engaging the Bible, the history of the systematic reading of scripture and discussion with pastors and lay persons, an addendum was formulated with suggested additions of feminine passages to the Revised Common Lectionary. In using this addendum a more holistic understanding of God and God's world might be achieved through weekly readings.
