Abstracto

This three-month phenomenological study (utilizing a heuristic approach) looked at the effect on the participants' level of intimacy, community, and personal spiritual growth from learning the traits and behaviors of healthy authenticity taught through small group interaction. The study examined the relationship to authenticity of God's self-revelation, of personal awareness, the context of the small group as an emotional system, and self-differentiated leadership. The results supported the hypothesis of growth on the part of the participants.
