This project proposes that a weekday nursery school is a proper mission for the church in meeting needs of children in their 'whole' development--spiritual, emotional, social, mental, and physical. Based on careful study of the stages of developmental growth in prekindergarten children, a committee of Trinity Lutheran Church (Hazleton, Pa) plans and implements a nursery school program. The project directs and documents this process and evaluates the nursery school in operation.
