Abstrait

The project reports how the author went about the formation of a bereavement group at Saint James Parish, Rocky Hill, Connecticut. The report covers a period of one year. Reflections are presented for each monthly session. Approximately twenty persons attended each meeting. The project reflects theologically and psychologically on the issues of death, mourning, widowhood and God's will in people's lives. The report examines these topics scripturally and historically. The evaluation process indicated that as a result of participation in the bereavement group, members were able to function more effectively in their daily lives.
