Abstract
  • This project is about the role of preaching in the Yoruba Christian Churches. It studies how the Yoruba culture, arts, traditions, theology, and philosophy affect preaching. It asks how to use such elements to produce positive results according to Christian ideals. The study includes eight sessions of field work where participants are exposed to the aspects of Yoruba Christian worship. The project then considers research on Yoruba Christian history, customs and practices. Many participants returned evaluation forms. Ninety-eight percent approve of the practices for Christian worship.
