Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to equip the music leadership team of Summit Baptist Church, Acworth, Georgia (SBC), in multigenerational worship leadership skills. The project included three phases. During phase one, research was conducted in the fields of biblical worship, spiritual leadership, and multigenerational considerations. The second phase of this project resulted in using information derived from phase one research to develop equipping curriculum. The curriculum educated the leadership team in the field of biblical worship as well as the characteristics and formative events that define the four primary adult generations present at Summit baptist Church. The third phase of this project resulted in expanding the music leadership team to include members of every adult generation at Summit, presenting the curriculum to the team, and equipping the team to function as a worship planning team. As a result of this project in ministry, the director expanded his knowledge in biblical worship, spiritual leadership, and generational issues and enhanced his skills in developing equipping curriculum.
