- This study assesses the contributions of the Korean Methodist Church's mission among the indigenous Pinatubo Aetas of Tarlac Province, Philippines. It evaluates the effects of transformational development mission approach for the Pinatubo Aetas, which underwent rapid change due to its relocation. Specifically examined are the institutionalized strategies, programs and approaches as well as on-going mission projects. This pioneer study utilizes an in-depth participant observation and examines marginalization, contextualization, and transformational development as mission principles. It contributes important principles for missionaries and development facilitators who work for genuine transformation and liberation among marginalized peoples.
