- Abstract
- The purpose of this professional project is to focus on enhancing interpersonal communication skills of couples with relatively stable marriages. Twelve marriage enrichment sessions were designed and facilitated. Through research it was discovered that the biblical goal for marriage is a growing intimacy. It was then assumed that this goal is achieved through responsible communication. It was also assumed that responsible communication can be effectively learned through the dynamic process of experiential learning using a special form of communication known as couple dialogue. It is concluded that couple dialogue is an effective tool for enhancing interpersonal communication skills.
