  • This dissertation presents four aspects. The first chapter discusses several theological perspectives and adjustments of the Taiwan church. Chapter Two discusses several models of the process of conversion of Chinese Christians. Chapter Three discusses the rise of Buddhist influence in Taiwan. Chapter Four researches the strategy and response of the Taiwan church. This dissertation does not attempt a dialogue of Buddhist criticism, but rather places emphasis on human understanding, especially on understanding Buddhist converts.
