Abstract
  • The project examines the possibility for a long term bi-racial ministry in a Baptist church. The history of the racial separation, current church practices, and conditions are used to inform the study. Methodology includes literature search, a survey of those in bi-racial churches, and interviews with pastors and church members. Gleaning isights from the project process, a suggested strategy is developed to maintain a growing, bi-racial church. Underlining the study are the concerns: is it true to biblical models; is it possible in today's context; is it desirable?
