Abstract
  • The project investigates the work week of senior pastors in mid-sized churches with multiple staff and suggests a paradigm for time management. The foundation for the research is a biblical-theological investigation and an analysis of specific pastor's work in different eras of history. Using a survey, the author collected data from pastors. The survey targeted the amount of time spent during the work week in the following areas: administration, counseling, preaching/teaching, visitation and other pastoral duties. The interpretation of data suggests a paradigm for time management that may allow pastors to effectively fulfill the responsibilities of ministry.
