Abstract
  • Wesley's theology of healing involves a holistic view of humanity wherein sin is seen as a spiritual disease affecting the entire person thereby requiring a holistic healing of body, mind, and spirit. The church offers this holistic salvation through a ministry of health, healing, and wholeness. The question examined is: 'How can I lead the Lycoming parish in reclaiming the Wesleyan ministry of healing through preaching, teaching and worship?' The use of appreciative inquiry leadership techniques enable the small, rural multiple church parish to develop an effective ministry of health, healing, and wholeness in the Wesleyan tradition.
