Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to inform the importance of the relationship-based leadership and to train the small group leaders to build strong relationships with group members. First, it is significant that leaders build influential relationships with members for successful growth in small groups; the foundation of this comes from God's loving relationship with us. Secondly, leaders need to be trained for self-differentiation and forgiving others in order to build healthy relationships. These trainings help leaders to build character so that they can establish relationship based leadership in small groups. This kind of leadership training can be implemented at a local church to develop skills for leaders.
