Abstract

The purpose of the project was to equip selected parents of Normandy Park Baptist Church, in Jacksonville, Florida, to train their first through third grade children in selected spiritual disciplines of Bible study, prayer, and worship. The project involved extensive research on how to equip parents to train their children in the spiritual disciplines. From the research the project director designed a curriculum to equip the parents to train their children selected disciplines. An eight-week parenting workshop was conducted utilizing the curriculum in order to equip the parents. A report on the process and findings of the project follows.
