Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to develop a comprehensive mission strategy at Faith Baptist Church in Bartlett, Tennessee. The project assessed the mission awareness of the congregation using a questionnaire survey in Sunday School. The group process was used to develop a specific strategy based on the 'Key Church' criteria of the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. Chapter 2 presented a biblical and theological support for developing a mission strategy using Old and New Testament perspectives. Chapter 3 contained the social and cultural rationale for developing a mission strategy. The need for a mission strategy was based on the climate of our culture and our calling as Christians. Chapter 4 outlined the process of developing the mission strategy in the context of Faith Baptist Church. Chapter 5 concluded by assessing the strengths and weaknesses of the project.
