Abstract
  • While one may be personally guilty of time abuse, pastoral care and counselling provide opportunities to apply the biblical message of time and its relevance to a social system that has lost the meaning of its minutes. Rooted in sound biblical theology and reality-tested common sense, this dissertation offers a bold new approach to telling time. The delineation of two kinds of time and how to recognize each affords the reader an opportunity to break out of the mono-dimensional straight jacket of living by one kind of time. The dissertation explores skills to make the most of significant time opportunities. Finally the subject focuses on tools for managing time.
