Abstrait

The project was designed to develop an administrative organization and structure at the York Avenue Church of God (Warren, Ohio; Anderson, Indiana). Until this time, the church had never had a formal structure, but instead relied upon the leading of the Spirit. Drawing upon input from the congregation, the project sought to develop a theological, congregational and denominational (movement) foundation. The project addresses the background of the problem and need for structure, the theological and administrative issues, and the methodology of accomplishing the task. Evaluation of the finished project revealed the need, congregational support and enthusiasm for the end product. Many painful situations were avoided that had occurred in the past.
