Abstract
  • This Doctor of Ministry project is designed to equip the laity for a ministry of pastoral care-giving. The primary purpose of the project is to lead participants of the study group to become more faithful pastoral care-givers in the church and in the community. A secondary purpose is to enhance the project leader's ability to communicate the ministry of care-giving in a way that helps Christians see the benefits of faithful care-giving in their lives, families, churches, and communities. The objective of the project will be accomplished through a nine-week study group. The study group will concentrate on three major areas of study. These areas are lifestyle care-giving, institutional care-giving, and crisis care-giving.
