Abstract
  • This project documents the formation of a chapter of the international Newman Club at St. Thomas Aquinas Collegiate Parish (Texas A&M University, Kingsville, Texas). The author describes the research and work involved in revising the parish mission statement and in preparing a constitution for the Newman Club. The Club is successful in meeting the spiritual needs of the multicultural student body and promoting fellowship within the club, with other campus organizations, and with the greater Kingsville commmunity. The author concludes with a personal critique and theological reflection.
