Abstrakt

This project addressed the question of how faith impacts the lives of people who are incarcerated. The project was conducted at the North Piedmont Correctional Facility for Men and Women, a medium security facility, with only one chaplain serving both the men's and women's units. The researcher worked with the chaplain and the inmate population, using interviews, seminars, a questionnaire, and a self-analysis document, to confirm that persons who are confined benefited from programs which were faith based.
