Abstract
  • The original purpose of this project was the development and implementation of a spiritual growth program for the men of Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene, York, PA, the Wesleyan-Holiness parish the author serves as senior pastor. However, it soon became apparent that all the adults (men and women alike) would benefit from the implementation of a simple, concrete spiritual growth model. This led to the development of the five core values of the Stillmeadow Church of the Nazarene: devotions, public worship, discipleship, service and witness. The development and implementation of this particular project was based upon scripture, informed by the Wesleyan-Holiness faith tradition and in response to the needs of 21st-century persons. The goal of the project: to establish a program that will help Wesleyan-Holiness people grow in Christlikeness and remain true to the core values of the church.
