- Abstract
- This project was a set of two workshops for the hospital staff in the emergency room, pastoral care department, security, and critical care units. These workshops were designed to foster continuing education and personal growth relating to grief and anger issues faced in the hospital context. Preworkshop and postworkshop questionnaires were used to gather information. The preworkshop questionnaires showed an adequate understanding of both anger and grief. The postworkshop questionnaires showed an increase in the understanding of both emotions plus more confidence in working with people expressing them.
