Abstrait

This research focused on church growth, but not to copy other churches' specific methods. Rather, we need to re-evaluate and change our attitude, starting from our thinking, vision and theological presuppositions. Chapter 1 and 2 discusses that many were influenced by the modern rationalization of the world, yet they do not realize it. Chapter 3 considers the churches that are creative and growing because they have vision, a spirit of fellowship that realizes the need of openness. Chapter 4 re-evaluates our presupposition. We should balance biblical teaching with theology. Chapter 5 discusses purpose and target according to biblical teaching. Chapter 6 discusses the remarkable growth since 1984 of Christ Church of Mangga Besar Congregation (GKJMB) Indonesia.
