Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to measure the impact of teaching inner healing for sexual brokenness upon attitudes toward homosexual persons. Participants took a quantitative pre-test before receiving instruction in twelve training sessions. Following the training, they again took the quantitative test along with a qualitative post-test. Overall, the project was a success. Participants gained a greater understanding of the structures of healing, the effects of sexual abuse, and the developmental causes of same-sex attraction and sexual addiction. Their attitudes toward homosexual persons became significantly more compassionate concurrently with a strengthening of their traditional view of homosexuality.
