Abstract
  • The thesis of the project affirms the way narrative works hermeneutically, establishing common ground between scripture, hearers, and proclaimers. The literature on narrative theology and preaching is surveyed, as is Australian Aboriginal tradition, Jewish thought, and other movements. A survey of teachers, preachers, and planned preaching events brings further understanding of the way narrative works allowing for significant conclusions to be drawn. The project is a how-to book on narrative preaching for the Australian scene.
