Abstract
  • This project proposes a method to recruit and train new laborers for specific ministries. The idea originated from Luke 10:2 where Jesus says: 'The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few, therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.' The project method utilized parish education, recruitment and training of parish callers, prayer, visitation and training of new laborers. One hundred potential laborers were invited to become active in a specific ministry and sixty-two persons agreed. The research discloses the importance of organized, personal, and regular recruitment of new laborers.
