Abstract
  • Developing a community cultivation team was a project designed to equip a church group to reach out to its surrounding community. Eight congregation members were enlisted to participate in the Community Cultivation training. The project included four weeks of discipleship and training related to biblical principles on prayer, servanthood, and evangelism. This training period was followed by six weeks of Community Cultivation activity in the neighborhood. The author believes that those participating in Community Cultivation training demonstrated an increased willingness to be involved in outreach and will continue to become more productive in witnessing for Jesus Christ.
