Abstract
  • In order to encourage a holistic journey toward discipleship, the author maintained that generativity, particularly in dialogic encounters, would break down assumptive barriers between generations and become an avenue for transmission of the catechetical opportunities and practices which enhanced the fostering of the Body of Christ. The research project successfully employed dialogue between various generations about 'spiritual type' to discover touchpoints and differences in their faith lives which in turn moderated their expectations of one another and provided a pathway to further assimilation and the building of a more robust Body of Christ.
