Abstract
  • The purpose of the project is to develop a contextualized curriculum for Northeast India Seminary (NITS). The project begins with a brief history of Christianity and the missionary movement in Manipur, followed by a brief history of the area concerning the cultural, social, and religious movement in Manipur. Chapter 3 begins with the purposes, the objectives and programs. The fourth chapter includes the theoretical background of a curriculum in general and is followed by the programs of NITS. Chapter 6 includes the admissions and the academic information. In chapter 7 the needs for the implementation of a seminary are stated. The author believes that this will be of great help to the church and mission movement in northeast India toward developing a contextualized curriculum.
