This project is designed to integrate a 'sacramental' understanding of the Bible as the word of God with the practice of ministry. This has been achieved through the execution of a seminar prepared for laypersons. The report outlines the writer's understanding of the Bible as the word of God. The report also includes summaries of the seminar sessions, examples of teaching materials, and evaluations of the seminar by the seminar participants and the seminar leader. The seminar showed promise for future use in Southern Baptist churches.
