Abstract
  • A congregation has an identity just as an individual. It also has a life cycle. This paper examines the factors which make for growth and those which cause decline. Knowing where a congregation is in its life cycle permits interventions to be made to alter its path. The author makes use of a life cycle questionnaire in a three-congregation study to test the life cycle hypothesis.
