Abstrait

This project was undertaken because there was an implicit loss of hope of the presence of God in a particular rural congregation. Dealing with the theological image of an abandoning God, this project attempts to develop a theological praxis of ministry which will bring this congregation hope for the present and future. The project undertakes a discussion of loss and hope through breaking of bread, Bible study, and conversation. These gatherings will utilize a curriculum which will attempt to unpack their understanding loss, transformation, and hope for their lives, church, and community.
