Abstract
  • This project investigates what impact upon missionary motivation different views will have as to whether the heathen are absolutely lost if they never have the chance to hear about Jesus Christ. It is shown that missionary zeal would not be undermined if we hold that God could accept these, and that stronger motivation can come from the love of Christ and the command of Christ. Evangelical Christians can defend the justice of God in dealing with those who have never heard, while at the same time maintaining strong motivation and zeal to go and tell the world.
