Abstract
  • Among Orthodox Christians, there is a diversity of practice and understanding on how to approach and make the best use of the Mystery of Confession. This project explored ways of revitalizing Repentance in the parish setting through a parish-wide education program. The project consisted of a sermon series, Sunday school family retreat and adult education opportunity. A questionnaire was given before and after to evaluate the effectiveness of the project and served to demonstrate not only increased knowledge about the Sacrament but, ultimately, more meaningfully participation in the Mystery of Confession.
