Abstract
  • This thesis attempts to define Christian maturity. We define maturity as 'wholeness', with Jesus providing the example of wholeness. We develop four markers, stemming from Genesis, which describe the essential elements of our humanness. Through insights from systems thinking, we recognize the interrelationships between these markers. Key beliefs, habits, and character qualities are then added. We look at other churches and ministries that have also developed models for spiritual growth, and then discuss two specific tools which utilize our spiritual growth model. Finally, we look at the implications of our spiritual growth model for the postmodern church.
