Abstrait

The purpose of the project was to educate parents concerning the developmental needs of their children and give practical training in parenting skills necessary to meet children's developmental needs. Research was accomplished to discover children's basic developmental needs and parenting skills necessary to meet the needs. A six-week parent training seminar was attended by seven parents. Pre- and posttests were administered to parents and their children, with a time-lapse evaluation also given to parents. Testing results revealed a measurable improvement in meeting the identified developmental needs.
