Abstract
  • The thesis of this paper is that a local congregation ought to exert its influence on the decision making process of its community. In order to do so a congregation must first understand how decisions are made and how it relates to that process. The research involved interviews with 25 community leaders in business, politics, and society who help determine the primary and secondary leaders of the community. The primary leaders were interviewed and their style of leadership analyzed. The author suggests ways a local congregation may influence community decisions.
