Abstract
  • The project inquires as to the place of and the need for spiritual formation in theological education. After surveying the perceived spiritual formation needs of students in one seminary, four teaching/learning activities were designed and implemented. Although the whole project was carried out within a period of only eight weeks, there was a favorable response to the learning experiences and some progress in the use of spiritual disciplines was revealed. The study shows that greater attention needs to be given to the spiritual areas of ministerial formation.
