- Abstract
- The project demonstrates the value of a couple-to-couple method of marriage preparation, and proposes plans to promote wider use of this program in parishes. The author uses informal interviews and surveys to show: a) 'For Better and Forever' is highly rated by those who use it; b) the key person to promote the program is the diocesan family life director; c) there are problems in educating local leaders about the value of parish based programs, and in providing the training for prospective sponsor couples. The author develops a plan and longer range visions to deal with the problems.
