Abstract
  • Will a true team relationship between pastor and lay leaders positively affect church growth? research conducted in this project confirms the thesis. Corporate leadership is discussed from Biblical, historical, and theological perspectives. A broad theory is developed suggesting several consequences of team leadership that ultimately affect church growth. Questionnaire responses assessing team relationship and church growth are correlated by computer analysis. Examination of some growing churches reveals pastor and leaders sharing significant time together. Several relevant conclusions are discussed, as well as implications for pastoral practice.
