Abstract
  • This project was inspired by a statement promising that if a congregation includes personal testimonies as a part of the worship service, the church will grow. The process for this study included three parts: 1) a survey to determine the congregation's knowledge and attitudes toward personal testimonies, 2) a twelve-week period where personal testimonies were included in the Sunday morning worship services, and 3) a survey following the twelve-week period to determine how knowledge and attitudes may have changed. Attendance records were also studied. Attendance records may indicate growth. Surveys indicated a positive attitude toward sharing personal testimonies.
